Biblical Directives of the Missions Committee of FBCW:  
To fulfill the great commission, the missions committee of FBC of Wahiawa organizes and facilitates  ministries and partners with agencies , for the spread of the gospel effectively through all of God's creation locally and internationally.   

Const & By-Laws, Art. 9, Sec. 8,  "The committee seeks to discover possibilities for local missions projects, shares findings with church program organizations, and serves the church in establishing and conducting such missions projects as may be assigned to it.  The committee shall include the pastor, a deacon, and a member from each mission organization."

Japan Missions 2024 and beyond

Sunday, May 5, Julie and Scott Bradford, IMB Missionaries presented the need to partner with Japan.  The dire need of preaching the gospel is of utmost urgency.  Only less than 1% are evangelicals and with 125 million population in Japan.   Go to 08:30 of the video to catch the presentation FBC of Wahiawa has a long standing relationship with the people of Japan.  First, we have members from Japan. We currently have a Japanese ministry whose roots and heritage are from their motherland.   Third, FBC of Wahiawa has been highly influenced by Japan missions to and fro via IMB missionaries.   Lastly, we are one of the closest frontier that could easily go to Japan.    I would like to ask the Missions Committee to craft a five year partnership with a southern Baptist congregation in Japan that can help facilitate the spread of the gospel in the community.   Year 2024 - identify and visit; lead leadership conference for the ch...
